garrettjfox.com
this portfolio site was the first version of garrettjfox.com, and was intended to be very simplistic and minimalist in how the content was presented. the site utilized basic html, css, and mootools javascript.
acting as a supplemental piece to the senior design campaign, the site focused on the steroid abuse of high school students- mainly in arizona. i wanted it to act as both a directory of current knowledge, and also a hub for the latest news concerning steroids. an rss feed was used to keep the news section up to date with the latest news.
whether it is content rich or very minimal, organization and simplicity has been my train of thought as to what makes an effective webpage. the last thing i would want to design is a website where the user does not know how to access information, or feels overwhelmed by all of the content. there is always an effective solution to the problem, no matter how complex the problem may be- this also applies to web design.
